PSALM 46:10
“Be still, and know that I am God”
KING JAMES VERSION (KJV)
TRANSLATION, MEANING, CONTEXT
WORDS OF GOD IN RED
This verse says God is in control. We do not need to try to control our lives since God is behind all things. He is the one who is truly in control. We thus must have faith in God and trust that He will look after us and take care of us. Then we may have the peace in our hearts and minds to live with honor and respect for all life.
For a similar verse, see Exodus 14:14, “The Lord will fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.”
