Paul is undergoes a conversion on the road to Damascus. Paul was travelling to a high priest in Damascus to conspire against the "disciples of the Lord" when he suddenly saw a light from heaven flash around him and fell to the ground. He then heard the voice of Jesus asking Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? Saul travelled on to Damascus where he recovered from blindness and was baptized. See Acts 9:1-19. Paul also describes the incident to king Agrippa in Acts 26:12-20. Image Source

    Jesus, Acts 1:8

Apostle Paul delivering one of his most thorough sermons at the Areopagus in Athens. Paul was brought here by Epicureans and Stoic philosophers after he had been preaching at a synagogue and in the marketplace in Athens Acts 17:16-18. His sermon begins by discussing an altar 'TO THE UNKNOWN GOD' and noting that God does not need anything created by people as He gives life to everything (Acts 17:23-24). Paul then discusses how God 'hath made of one blood all nations of men' (Acts 17:25-26) and how we should seek 'after him, and find him ... For we are also his offspring.' Therefore, Paul says idols of gold, silver or stone are 'man's device ... the times of this ignorance God winked at' and now is the time to repent. When Paul talks of the'resurrection of the dead, some mocked: and others said, We will hear thee again of this matter.' (Acts 17:27-32) Image Source
